The undercut (short to mid length)
This season short cuts should be sharp with length on top – you need a bit of hair left to play with. So while the back and sides can be really short, the top and front should be longer.
Errol Douglas, MBE, is predicting that the undercut, as seen on Amelle, Sugababes, is going to be the fiercest cut this season.
Errol says: "It's such a hot look but some girls are scared of it. Amelle shows how sexy it can be, and it really works against the sleekness of her bob. The length accentuates her cheekbones and the style isn't too flat or over-ironed – another key trend."
The days of poker straight hair are long gone.
